Cannabigerol Oil: Facts
Cannabigerol, or CBG, is an emerging, non-psychoactive cannabinoid. All strains of hemp start off as an early form of CBG, known as CBGA (or cannabigerolic acid) early in their lifecycle. Over time, this acid transforms into other cannabinoids, including CBD, CBC, THC. Because of the low levels of CBG found in most strains, CBG is considered a minor cannabinoid. Like CBD, CBG reacts with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. CBG Oil can also be extracted from the aerial parts of CBG dominant hemp strains. Our pure CBG Oil is enhanced with our proprietary extraction process, which isolates the CBG compound out of industrial hemp strains. Early preliminary research has shown that CBG may help promote mental clarity and focus as well as promoting a healthy digestive system among many other things.

CBG OIL FAQ
Early research has shown CBG to have many potential benefits. There are also many emerging studies available online to learn more about this amazing cannabinoid. While we cannot make any claims regarding our products, some early studies suggest it may help promote a healthy digestive system as well as a sense of focus and mental clarity.
Research on CBG is still emerging and reacts with everyone’s endocannabinoid system differently. However, many users report mental clarity and a feeling of increased focus. CBG may also help promote a healthy digestive system, as many of the cannabinoid receptors CBG interacts with are located in the digestive system. In addition, many users report mood support from consistent CBG usage. Like all cannabinoids, CBG can take some time to build up in your system.
Cannabidiol (CBD) and Cannabigerol (CBG) are both cannabinoids found naturally in the hemp plant, however, they are produced at different stages of the plant’s growth. Early on, as the hemp plant grows , it begins producing CBGA, or cannabigerolic acid, which is the precursor to all cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. As the hemp plant matures, CBGA is then converted via enzymes, and UV light to other cannabinoids such as THCA, CBDA, and CBCA. Each of these cannabinoids undergo a chemical change and are then converted to THC, CBD, and CBC. The CBGA that is left over after this process then becomes CBG (Cannabigerol). Even though CBD and CBG start out as CBGA, both cannabinoids are formed at a different stage of the hemp plant cycle.
CBG is still emerging, and as a result only a handful of companies carry CBG products. Unlike many competitors, VESL CBG tinctures are formulated using only PURE CBG. CBG products can also come in the form of smokable flower and topicals. Just be sure you only buy CBG products that have been LAB TESTED!
Not all CBG Oil is created equal. As more and more CBG Oil floods the market, make sure you know what to look for in a quality product. Our CBG products are always formulated using pure CBG oil, this insured quality and consistency. Many companies label their products with “CBG” but fail to mention the low content of CBG in the products. At VESL, we offer third-party testing and analysis for each batch!
